The new season started on Monday, but I just noticed it listed tonight(8PM AZ time). Don't know if it's new or not, but I'll be watching it. Are we easily amused or what?

I watched that show once, thought it was very boring.
They had a couple new Hondas and didn't bother talking about the specs or their impressions. I would watch if they talked about performance and new upcoming models. But, I could care less about jetsking in some remote lake in CA. Are all the shows like that? |

i would watch it just to see Christy...

I watched it for the first time last night, I don't know I am really psyched that there is a whole weekly half-hour tv show with nothing but pwc talk. It'll be another month before I'm really riding up here but this helped tide me over. Just watching the riders cruise around the mangrove trails in Key West and talking about it, was better than nothing y'know! Last night's show was all Kawasaki but I think it was a special show because of Kawa's anniversay, I get the impression that generally they cover all makes on the show?...all five manufacturers' logos appeared in the end credits. (Unlike that "PowerBoat Television show" on SpeedVision which never acknowledges any pwc but Seadoo's.) Was this the first show of the season? Do they do a lot of reviews? (Seems the features on the two new Kawi's weren't so much reviews as demo/promos given by people from the company itself, but still that's makes a nice break from watching war coverage all night!) Will they be covering the MSX and Polaris any time soon? I take it they do a lot of travel/adventure/destination type pieces, personally I enjoy that kind of feature very much in the mags and stuff.

PWC tv is a great show and yes they do cover all makes and models, the last episode just happens to be a Kawasaki aniversary special (which kawasaki sponsored) Kevin is a pretty cool guy, and when asked he will never really endorse any one manufactuer.....I ride with him in the summer and usualy get a chance to ride all the new models that the manufacturer lend him for testing. Im hoping they send him a new Honda R12X soon

Yeah I saw the show they show more sites than the watercrafts.they need to show more testing of pipes to props ride plates different combos of parts and of coarse racing coverage, speed and handling test, If they did coverage like that the show could even make ESPN, Dont show me land sites i can find them myself but i cant do alot of testing, If they need help call me i have lots of ideas. Hollywood can use a few more.

quote:Exactly! They need to show the high performance/racing side of pwc instead of cruising. That I would watch no doubt. Too many people think jetsking is just 'fun' and not a truly competitive sport like motorcross. Leave the site-seeing shows to Powerboat television. I want to see some testing, jetski racing, and model specs/opinions (unbiased of course). |

It's (pwctv) obviously geared to the recreational/family/cruising/"boating"-type pwc enthusiast like me (that's probably why I enjoy watching it), which makes up the majority of the market. A really hard-core performance-oriented program aimed at technical types and racers would have an even smaller audience, much smaller!, and doesn't seem likely that something like that would make it onto tv (I think it's a lucky surprise that they even found room for us on something already specialized towards outdoor recreation as "The Outdoor Channel"), but then that's what the Riva web site is for!
