No the zoneoh is a pull type motor for a 1/4 scale car or a boat type motor. This is a 3.5cc 2 stroke motor that u use a starter box or just the motor from the starter box w/ a rubber wheel attacted. The motors I have are 1 top bk, and the sbk which are considered two of the best motors out there. They sell for 225.00 and 250.00 apiece. Your motor on your boat is different from mine.

That sounds like a sweet car.

Mick, I'm also running gas powered boats..but only homelites so far. How do you like your Zen? I've also got an 88 RZ..small world.

Yea the Zenoah is in my 55" Dumas Scarab, It fly's but it would be better in a Catamaran type hull.
I had a homelite in one of my other 55" hulls and it handled and jumped better than any Zenoah. All the Zenoah knows to do is get on the pipe, the homelite has a better lower powerband with the grunt power for wave jumping.
Lil slower and heavier handles the waves better, kinda like the XLT1200's.

Coop I have MANY other boats ranging in the 3.5 cc to 15cc's. One 10th scale buggy with a .12.

Mick I used to race my car every weekend at the shop at the hobby store at eldorado exit also at his brothers shop at bellaire at chimmyrock. Did you ever go to either of those places? I just dont have time to run them anymore.

Brian, Yea I know about the hobby shop at eldorado and 45... Issacs, or Hobby Center Clear Lake.. I use to work there part time for Issac the owner. I tried to help him build his boating dept after I closed my Hobby shop. Mine was about 90% boats and I advertised in Boat Modeler that brought in all my work from all over the USA, Japan and as far away as Australia.
Issac had a cool dirt track byside the shop but none of the car racers ever came out to help him with maintenace on it, so he got rid of it.

Needless to say his boat dept sucks and all the young kids working the car dept are smart ass punks.
If you got a pic of that car send it to me ok?

Yea Issac is an ******* as is his brother who runs the place on chimneyrock. When issac had his dirt track, i used to be a regular at both locations. Guys at his shop were jerks though. I used to help out at hobby world on westheimer w my other buddies. That is where we bought our parts from. When he went to onroad, i kept my offroad, buggie, and bought miy picco rs600 compac. He had the best track kept track in tx. But you know since you worked for him, that he thought he was smarter than everybody else. I will take pictures of my car and give it do david so he can send it to you. I dont have a scanner. lots of new parts for the onroad and offroad. especially tires and wheels. I didn't have time for the boat thing.

Yea Issac can be a lil touchy at times. His butt ugly wife is a real HAG too. None of the guys that work there now worked there when I worked there part time. They always bombard you with "can i help you"? 10 or 20 times then I think of something they dont have and usually tell them thats what Im looking to buy. Either a boat hull or a motor for a boat, or something really exotic. They dont know chit about boats. Then after looking at what I really want at the hobby shop I come home and go to www.towerhobbies.com and order it usually 30% cheaper and no tax. If Issac is there he will sell me anything in his shop usually at his cost. But I still gotta pay the tax on it.
Oh yea we had a great time in sommerville yesterday and Today.
Got some great onboard video going around the bouy's!
