Yup..........dealer meetings happen next week and rumor is that the "Racing" sitdown is done and will be unvieled. Rumor also right now is that it will be able to be viewed (in person) by the Public at Havasu this fall at the World Finals.

This is going to get interesting folks!!!!

If it's anything like the 785 pro, we are all in trouble!

I'm hoping for a stretched Pro 785/1200 hull with a triple pipe 1200 engine package that is somewhat reliable. The Pro is too short. If you can make a larger boat handle like a Pro, lookout!

Here's a link to a couple pictures of the new Polaris.

Not sure if it's already been posted here.

1200, I really like the raised cowl look (crotch rocket look) in front of the seat. It seems as if it is perfect for clamping your thighs and leaning into the turns. I hope it's a lean in turner. How about the hp to weight ratio with a 750 twin 4 stroke with a turbo and intercooler making 150hp at 7500 rpm? It's gotta be way lighter then the other manufacturers 4 strokes. I was listening to the conference broadcast and Polaris was really boasting on the ride, handling and power in a much lighter package then the rest of the manufacturers 4 strokes. I guess time will tell once they are sold and tested.
Anyone else think that 4 stroke turbo 750 twin looks like it would squeeze into an Octane because of its smaller size? A 150hp stand up would be one awesome ski!

Thes is sum HOT lookin boats, nice stylin and seemingly ergonomics. The crotch rocket analogy is almost spot on, but you might want to call it crotch KILLER instead. The B;aster 2 has a raised area in that particular spot and let me tell ya set up for a turn wrong or meet a disobedient wave at the wrong time and you will be one of the sopranos.

Mario, I rode a BII quite a bit but I never did manage to be a soprano, LOL, thank goodness. I did however love the instant lean in turning of the BII.

That guy on the ATV looks a little lean...

Interesting design on the ski...doesn't look like it can be ridden standing very well i.e. wave jumping etc...looks like its made for some serious smooth water carving. The little mirrors are gay too. Over all looks good though...

I wonder what what everyone else is pulling out of their hats?

It’s way past time for Yamaha to do an RXX\STXR (now MTX) type boat. Triples, Skat Trak, Jettrim, UMI, etc. I'll take two!

Yes the WB2 is a very underrated boat, incredible fun, it's just too bad Yammie didn't use that platform with the old 1200 motor, I believe they had the best boat they could have made for the c/c there.

I was hoping for a smaller hull than what I am seeing. The motor looks nice and light but the hull is too big. I wonder what it weighs? Maybe the picture is decieving but it appears that the hull is big and wide kinda like the gpr. Is this a two seater or three? We can all thank the stx's winning 1200 every year for the new jumbo two seaters that I am sure we will be seeing more of. Personally I think ijsba should make a three seater class and then maybe small nimble and quick two seaters could make a comeback. Sorry for the ranting but I am so sick and tired of the so called "personal" watercraft getting bigger every year Let me guess the new kawasaki two seater that replaces the ultra will be 700 pounds

Hey Scott I new that would get a rise outta ya. Believe me I am not saying the gpr is a small anything Big Grin I actually hate the weight of the gpr. I think the two seaters are getting way to big..just my opinion and no need to agree with me if you feel otherwise. The stxr is an awesome boat, I am just looking for something a bit more "personal" if you know what I mean. I may not win any races with a small underpowered hull but I am sick of riding jumbo watercraft..haha take care man.

Here's the weights. A little dissapointing for me that the MSX is 100 pounds heavier than the Virage TX but the person that posted this on
another forum was at the meeting and rode the MSX. Actually the turbo engine in a TX hull would yield less weight than with the TXi 1200 with the FFI. The ride and handling look promising from this test riders post.

"the 150hp turbo msx is 665pds, the 140hp fict 2stroke msx is 685pds,and the 110hp turbo is 660pds. but i'm telling ya this new hull they got is WAY better than anything else on the market. If your looking for a pwc, i'd definately get a msx."
