imo, unless they invade syria, the only weapons of mass destruction they will find is the one between his legs. that is if they didnt cut it off yet.

Jeez.. If he gave all his prized chemical and biological weapons to Syria you'd think the least they could have done in return was to offer him refuge. Some folk just never show any gratitude Roll Eyes

no doubt in my mind that he had WMD. i mean, for cryin out loud ,look what he used on the kurds. on his own people. that proves that he had the means to do it. all the hidden labs that turned up. no we didn't find them. but u bet your bottom dollar they were there

We probably won't find any weapons of mass destruction; just the means to make them, and maybe some leftover junk from the Iran/Iraq war. To say that not finding any WMD somehow makes the war illegitimate, is simply not true.

What a shame nobody saw fit to take off HItler before he took over almost all of Europe and killed 6 million people.

i just read a good book and it stated that one of our spies pretty much gave us all the info we needed on hitler before he made his move. and we pretty much ignored it. we could have taken him out long before his rise to power.

Excellent point and I agree 100%. We have lots of liberal Anti Bush "monday morning quarterbacks" running around complaining that we have not found the WMD. You know the Brett Favre commercial where he says "hey I would have gone vanilla with that sweater, I would have parked closer , I would have double bagged it, etc. well that is what we are hearing from the liberals right now. The funny thing is most of them formally supported us going into Iraq but you will never hear them admit that now, oh god no, they have all done a complete 180 now. As usual. Roll Eyes

6 milion people ?????
That's the number of Jews killed (estimate) but in WW2 Jews were not the only fatalities.
I know that in the US it is called the "Holocaust" and the history books in the US only refer to that aspect of the war but there were far more people killed than that.
Try 22 milion Rusian and 8 milion Polaks just to name a few.
Concentration camps were filled with all nationalities and fact is that Jews were a minority in those camps.
Hitler like Sadam murdered milions of his own people and I for one am glad that he's captured.
The weapons of mass destruction story was used to get support of the public for the war but I was and am not sold on it.
Now lets get Osama and dig him out of his hole.

P.S. Stalin killed more people than Hitler could ever imagine.

Irish you might have missed it but after 9/11 Bush declared a war on terrorism. "Either your with us or against us" and if your against us while Bush is president then your getting a size 12 in your azz.

Like it, or not, it's about removing a ruthless dictator and helping to install a democratic, hopefully responsible, western friendly, government in the middle of a cauldron of anti-west sentiment. If it fails, thousands will die in the resultant power struggles. If it works, perhaps hundreds of thousands are saved and the region becomes a more tranquil place. That's a good thing!

I agree with Howestek, but Iraq qill never be a pretty place.
Look at Afghanistan, of course Talibans are gone but it's still not a heaven of human rights (especially women), freedom and speach and kindness, it's just better, a little like Turkey.
And guys I prefer having an allied like Turkey than an enemy like Saddam's Iraq but I still wouldn't live there.

I love the democracy and feeling of freedom I get off this statement!

Howestek
I wish it was! unfortunatly a western friendly govt is not benificial to the indigenous people of Iraq. At the moment its all about the USA in Iraq.
