I don't usually ride here to many skis and boats. The Miami Jet ski crowd is always there. My buddies all were meeting there so I went. Like usual some punk is telling all the girls how fast his Coffman piped ultra is. Then he sees me and my buddies gprs and starts talking $hit."I chew up gp1200r for lunch and spit them out".
Then all my buddies volunteered ME to race him.
We started off the beach at an idle he had me by 2-3 boats till I caught him and passed him about 75'from the start. He said after that his trim was not set right. We did it again from on plain, I pulled away and got in front then let up and got even with him we were going about 74mph 10’ apart. He was on my right side so I showed him my throttle was only at 3/4 then I goosed it again and pulled away fast from him. He kept on trying, so I let up again got next to him and pulled him again. He had enough at that point and took off across the bay never to be seen again today!
That was fun I love blowing away ultras, my pipes are the bomb this was my first meeting with a piped ultra, hope to find him again that was a blast.

Man the more I hear that the more I want to do lots of mods to the gpr. Well whenever money permits I guess.

very nice! im going to islamorada for 2 weeks in sept. the gpr will be with me the entire time.
