I went up to my buddys shop, he owns a local Yamaha dealership, and was talkin to him bout my GP, and he asked me if I knew anybody interested in a new 02 GP1200R's? I said yea I think so, he said that they'll knock a grand off the sticker and it comes with full warranty, plus he thinks yamaha has some rebates on them too. So if anyone is interested, lemme know. They are located in shreveport, louisiana.

Shoot, my g/f has approved me getting one, so I can give her my old one. LOL. He said he can take a grand off the sticker to $7499, is that a good price or not?

If you can get it for $7500 with a trailer and get him to give you a break on prep fees then go for it I'd say.

Try pricing over in Marshall TX for comparison. They usually will quote decent prices. I haven't used their shop because they aren't close to the water.
