What do u use to clean the exhaust stains off the back bottom of a pwc. My buddy wants to know. He has a 2003 XLT800. Hes got some nasty exhaust stains already only after two uses.

I always cleaned mine with soap, water, and a rag. The hardest part was getting into the tight places.

all u need to do is take a paper towel and just wipe it off. A better job would be to use soap and water.

Here's a third on the Simple Green. The stuff works great. Also, get yourself a good soft bristle brush.

I usually spray that area with silicone spray anyway for protection. This also helps a lot of that black gunk come off quite easily with paper towels...
