At our race this past weekend up near Dallas we had a beginner racer get T-Boned in moto 2. He was on a STXR and the other guy was on a Yamaha GPR. The GPR cracked the side of the STXR's hull open and the rider of the STXR's leg got pushed/caught in the crack of the hull. Thus holding his leg like a bear trap. They had to cut the hull away to get his leg out. In the end he had a severe break in his leg and had to be heliported to the hospital.
I hear he is doing well and in good spirits and I wish him a speedy recovery.

So im wishing all my riva forum family a SAFE riding 4th of July weekend.
