Ironic or not, the blue sad face and green happy face seem appropriate in this case . .

Adding standup is great news!

Racers want to win therefore they will choose the most competitive boat. I'm not happy about it, but good luck Avery.

Don't say this like if it was a disease.
It won't make him a bad person to ride green.

Nah... not meant like a disease. Avery is, and will always be the pride of Texas. Regardless of the ski he's on, he and his dad are two of the greatest people out there! Just surprised after all these years with him on a Yamaha that he made the switch. But as Mario said, the pros go to the most competitive available. Smile

Suzan, if only you would of gone Yellow, you would not be tempted to go green.

I did tell ya that Avery was going to be on a stxr, but things did not work out for the finals. Seems they had some electrical problems that they couldn't cure in time. Since Avery is a personal friend of mine and some others here in Austin, I do have an inside source of what is going on with his racing. Sources say that he fired bullet and is getting out of racing because of frustration. It just proves one more time that without factory backing it is much more difficult to make the higher competative skis perform with consistancy and reliability that it takes to get to the podium. I would bet that after four months and spending $30,000 dollars and still has a ski that doesn't run, that Avery feels like he also has a P.O.S. rp

Hey rp!
Any indication of him returning to Austin? I'm sure everyone would love to have him back at Mudd Cove! Big Grin

I don't think he knows right now what he's going to do, but being that his dad sold their lake travis home, I don't think so. rp

Are you saying Avery sucks? Your kidding right? If he sucks as you say then where does that leave you on the pwc racing food chain? I know your pretty big on yourself, maybe you will dominate him in a race?? If so I guess you have the right to say he sucks then. How much do you charge for autographs? I want to get one for my kid Big Grin Big Grin

Not to forget last year.... #1 National Expert 1200 S/S on Sat, overnight woke up on Sunday and he was a Pro! How many graduate from Expert to Pro at the World Finals overnite? If I could race 1/2 as good as Avery, I'd been on h*ll of a Novice racer. Kudos to you Avery!! Keep on racing! Big Grin
