Do you go to Glamis? I have a piped Banshee that does pretty good. I might be up for a day trip sometime. I'm not sure if the middle of the dunes is still closed. If not and you have never been I'll show you the Great Wall. Pretty impressive.

Guess the destination is gordons well. Your comming home saturday morning? We were planning on arriving early saturday. Ill talk to the wife into going out friday morning. Took the raptors to lake morena highest gear we coild get into was third and that was plenty fast. We were pulling wheelies in 3rd gear

Joe did you get any paddle tires? You need to get Scat Track 8 paddle haulers for the sand. The molded tires don't bite as good. Back when I used to go hill race at Oldsmobile I found The scat Trac 21" x 12" x 8" with 8 paddles was the fastest. More paddles will slow you down.

You will love the sand. Take the tops of the hills at an angle so you can see what is going on before you go over (drop-offs, dune buggies other quads etc.) thats the main and most important rule. Just take it easy until you get your sand legs. Have you ridden in the dunes before?

I can't go over Thanksgiving weekend, but hope to hook up with you for a days riding this season.

Sand is better than gravel (Ocotillo). No dust!!!

Too bad I sold my DS-650 last year...otherwise, I'd have something to pull you back to camp with.
