It was great to stop and talk to the men and women of the various Armed Forces and chat with them about a little bit of everything. (and to say Thank You) All were extremely friendly to my family, esp. my kids.(even the Canadian AF LOL)

The Coast Guard helo crew from Elizabeth City VA had some great stories of rescues from LA, yet they were still very humble. Hot lookin' female pilot too.

The flying was AWESOME. Where else can you see 2 F-86s, a F-4 and a F-16 fly together in formation? The Tomcat demo was spectacular with the ground pyro and full A/B most of the time.
A B-2 did a few mid level flybys.(man is that thing quiet) Super Hornet Demo was mind boggling with the inverted roll after takeoff, the "cobra manueuver" (like the SU-22 does) and the high alpha passes. The most impressive (soundwise)was the fleet flyby with a mix of about 7 or 8 Hornets and Tomcats flying formation...and of course The Blue Angles were perfect as usual.

There was so much more to see and do I can't begin to describe it all. Navy SEALs, sky divers, civil flying performers, more military demos, boats, ground equipment and many things to keeps the kids occupied.

In short it was one of the best shows I have ever attended! Definately Proud (and Thankful)To Be an American !!!

That shot of the two Super Hornets with the one just punching through the sound barrier is AWESOME!!!!

Every year we are fortunate enough to have the "Air & Sea Show" here in Ft Lauderdale, FL. It's over the ocean. Along with air demonstrations there is an amphibious assault demonstration with a beach landing. One year they went all out. Had F-18E/F's, AH-1W/Z's & A-10's taking turns providing air cover while two LCAC's, four AAV's and several Sea Hawk's delivered troops onto the beach. It was an insanely awesome display of power!!!!
