Just checking to see who all lives in Dallas. I will be there the weekend of May 7/8th to pick up a ski. If anyone is riding that weekend & I am near a lake, I may swing by to give a "shout-out". I will be near Denton.

Me and my cousin will be riding our FXs this next weekend up there at Lake Lewisville(30 min north of Dallas). We will be launching at the Eagle point Marina http://www.eaglepointmarina.com/

Actually, that is close to where I need to meet to pick up the ski, Lake Lewisville. Jumper, If I have enough free time to swing by I will. I still need to make it back in the Houston are to make my (Mother's Day) visits.

Jay, I am picking up a 94 Sea-Doo SPX. rebuilt motor supposedly, but has a stripped PTO and driveshaft. easy fix. no trailer. I am gonna do a 1 day run on mothers day to git it.
Just a project ski, not sure if I am gonna keep it as a second ski yet. Just bored wanting to piddle with something again.

Hey RX, I guess we missed ya down there. We had a blast though. It was a little cold on Saturday, but we rode anyways. After we put the skiis up, we headed back to Sneakypetes and partied until about 1am. Had a blast and met some beautiful women We met some old birds too, but you know what they say "You have to ride a few mules before you mount a thoroughbred"

I see your from Corpus too. Ever eat at BlackBeards ? We love that place, great food for a hole in the wall. Its on the beach across from the U.S.S. Lexington. We always stay at the Omni on the seawall.

Ya, I have eaten there a couple of times. Pretty good, a little pricey though. If you get a chance, head over to Padre Island on the other side of the causway there in Corpus. Right next to the intercoastal waterway there is a good place to eat there called Doc's. Its right on the water. You can actually drive your ski right up to the restaraunt docks. You can also ride the back cannals around all the huge home there on the cannals. Oh, no pics. I don't think you would want to see pics of the old birds anyways

No. Is it where they construct large Sand art on the beach? If so, they do it every year in Galveston. Big event. Pretty cool.

Ya, but people mostly go there because the beaches become packed. Live bands with stages on the beach and lots of skis. At least there was a few years ago.
