well, I have a fast ride but no ability according to moses. [Big Grin] " I cant ride in the chop" [Big Grin] So unless we are racing on a sheet of glass I cant go. I would love to make the trip but that one is out of range for me. I did install the 115 gram springs today. Took me 10 minutes and the carbs were back on the boat NOT!! I did check synch on the butterflies looks like they all open together, but it looks like i could get #2 and #3 to open a little more but that wouldnt make sense so im gonna leave them as is. Anything else I should check while the carbs are off? Little off topic sorry but mark is a hard man to get a hold of. Im still waiting for his home phone # so I can call him @ 11pm and ask him stupid questions and really annoy him. [Big Grin] [Big Grin] bye the way mark talked to steve dixon today he said he loves your carb mod. best thing he ever did to his gpr. Oh and larry refused to ship my lightened crank today when I talked to him he acted like he didnt have a clue what I was talkin about. Whats up with that mark? [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

I am with Mark on this one. This is even a good chance to actually have our Riva forum board member shootout that never seemed to take place. Many of us will allready be there and for others its a central location. Lets all do this !

Heck, I am even thinking of entering endurance race just for the **** of it. No qualifing needed.
Beginer class for my rec ridin arse.hehe.

Rooms are going fast, two weeks ago when I called they were allready 3/4 booked !, thats two weeks ago.

Mark,
Lookin forward to meeting you, Andy, Lynn and even Fercho say you guys are a good group [Wink]

Mark,
I've been bustin my butt tryin to get all the little bugs out of both boats and with work havent had much time, but I'll call or e-mail ya soon.I really apreciate all the extras I got and thanks for lookin both boats over and keepin an eye on me & my son on the ride.Tell Larry thanks too for all his efforts (Diagnosing #3)and especially for makin time on short notice, and bein so receptive to my son.He had the time of his life and you guys are the best shop I've seen around on watercraft.Ive been modding watercraft since 95, and out of all the money I've spent your Carb mod has given my ski more performance than anything I've ever done period. Your head mod worked great on my wifes ski too ! Quality Workman ship is hard to find these days and from what I've seen you guys are the BEST!!! Stock head is on its way Back,Need couplers for 2,and did your man try my impeller yet? Anxious to know as I'm testing one with a tad more cut and I want to compare notes.I hope to see ya at the Race. Will try my best to make it.Thanks again
Steve

Top end don't win endurance races... The rider does. You would surprise yourself (in a good way) if you entered the correct class. A 2 hour race equalizes the field between the "really fast" and the "really prepared" race teams. Some CC skis can dominate in supercourse, if they are setup and ridden properly. In fact, I think if a few of the glass water high speed grudge racers show up, they will be dissapointed with the outcome.

Quick Mick: Tellin'You Man you gotta try it. Get one of your buddies to ride with you in team. Ride for 20-30 minutes and trade off. I'm a 53 year old fat guy riding Yamaha 3- seater with a 20 something kid and we are right in the thick of things here in region 8. First race was in the beginning of May and now I'm hooked. I think I made an impression in the Begginer Class last race by getting a "BIG HOLE SHOT" with a Kaw "R".
So Mick if I can "DO IT" anyone can. Anyway its in your own "back yard".

If I heard right on Sunday, beginners start right in Novice for this one . . . [Smile]

The idea of a rec ride is a good one . . Belton is a nice lake if you come prepared . . Marty said a couple of other people were thinking of doing it because he can't . . if enough people are interested I'll try to find out more.

If someone will let me use their STXR..I would love to go! [Big Grin]

2 hours?? Holy cow...where's my Geritol...errr...Viagra!! I think I'd give it a shot...you can do teams also???

There's no way these two GP's will be set-up for a offshore race. If someone has a semi-modded STXR...I'll race your ski and win. Maybe. [Cool]

Sorry to burst anybody,s bubble there will be no team event at this race.it is all single rider single ski.log on to teamsportracing.com they have the events posted.standup riders go off first they race for 60min then all novice beginners are with novice they race for 90min then the veterans master,s proam woman and proam they race for 2hrs.thats all on sat, then we come back on sun.and do it all again.i for one can't wait like all the rest of the rpm race team.as mark c said top speed doesn't win this race rider ability and reliability of your ski wins this race i hope to see a bunch of you guys out there.btw bill b are you coming.your from penn. do you know sue tucker and barry?? they are both from penn. and are coming to texas.MARK RPM RACING

Hey Mikey!
Actually, it's 2x 2hour races.... 4hours in 2 days on your ride. Top speed is not going to win many races in this environment.

Preperation, and "Preperation H."
