Jumpmaster, nice "Old'-School" Blaster. Johnny5, I am with ya on the sell the boat keep the boat phrase. I cycle that question about every 3-4 mos.

Home:

Paint office burgundy or red (wife says so)
Hardwood floors in office
New office desk
New kitchen border
Trim down banana trees
Minor replacement on landscaping around pool
Going to Vega$ the day after Christmas !!

Hydrotoys does have nice toys Wink

Winter projects (in progress):

R&D Stainless Head Girdles
Ski-Doo cages
New pump
New shaft
Revised cooling routing
Ride plate modifications
Fly or Azonic handlebars either YZ bend or CR Bend;
Riva graphics kit
Replace silver cowling to the new '05 black 1300 cowling
~& other special stuff~

As for the head girdles, I am firm beleiver in them. I had two cylinders crack on the same mounting "ears", if I had girdles, I would have saved myself the price of replacing 2 cylinders.

I hear ya Rx that phrase goes thru my head about 3 to 5 times a day depending on what im doing ...looking at bills or looking at the boat..!!

Mark what is nice about the stock cowling is that I can still throw the storage bucket in that also holds my fire extinguisher.the wind screen keeps the rpot splash gaurd in place

You've seen the pics of my front storage area now just picture it with the gaurd there and closing the screen......
Wink

Washed and waxed the ski last night ....sell it or keep it....??? Roll Eyes

I hate to get rid of this one of a kind gpr...but I guess I could always build one about half way for alot less since the knowledge and parts are available cheap...

Johnny,
Like you, I put a butt-ton of time into my ski(s). I don't believe I get to ride them enough to justify the time/money/effort that goes into them. If I sold my GPR, I know I'd kick myself.

What you really have to ask yourself, is if you would REGRET selling the ski. If so, I'd highly advise against selling it.

ps-my other wintertime project.
