I need to meet a few people to ride with. I've been riding jetskis since 1995 and I'm ashamed to say that I don't really know any hardcore riders in my area. Lately I've come to realize that most people buy jetskis/PWC/Waverunners as big toys and are just fair weather riders, they don't realize that a PWC is just the fastest, easiest, cheapest way to tour a complete body of water.
I have toured at least half of the Tennessee River from the back of my 99 XL1200 Limited, from Stevenson Alabama to Knoxville Tennessee and then some. It’s really quite pretty with lots of glass water with some rough water thrown in just for good measure.
I’m not sure about the availability of Super unleaded fuel, but I intend to find out.

So here’s the offer…my family has a house on Watts Bar Lake that we time share with each other. I have the house to myself for 6 weeks this ski season. We have a ramp, gravel beach, dock, fully equipped house, 1 queen bed, 2 double beds and 3 single beds, 3 showers…the works. Oh and a pontoon boat.

All hardcore riders that want to come hang out and ride the Tennessee River is welcome to come stay free of charge. You only need money for gas and food, and you’ll have a clean dry comfortable place to crash afterwards

My lake house weeks are

April 29th – May 5th
June 3rd – 9th
July 15th – 21st
August 26th – Sept 2nd
Oct 7th –13th

E-mail me and let me know what’s up! Space is limited!

Edward B Tarver
Cleveland Tennessee

My personal thanks to WaveEater , PEST, Jon22 and WideOpen for helping make my much needed vacation a success. I’d feel cheated if I didn’t get to ride with you guys.

Ed that is one incredible offer The October dates are looking real tempting. Problem is I only have 6 days of vacation time left and I will need to use them during race season. BUT!! I am looking for a new job and I sure as **** hope to have a new job before October so maybe I will have some vacation time available. So, at this point in time I am just dreaming but that sure is one h*ll of an offer Smile

Dude, sounds like a good time. How far are you from MI border and where abouts is Cleveland, TN? I could probably round up some friends for a trip.

Ed,
I'm in Cullman, AL, about 170 mile from you. I'd love to come up that way this year. One of my favorite things is exploring; too many of the riders on Smith Lake are the 16 year olds running over each other on thier Sea Doos. I'll email you later. If anyone else comes around North Alabama, give me a call; I've got plenty of time to ride. The advantages of only working 3 days a week.
