Ok,2 seasons back.I was in the narrows running with my stage2,around 65mph in Superman, waiting for that "70" mark.Boat was pulling still, everything "was" looking good for this run.I had noticed a few minutes back that a wake boat, across the 200+yards wide test area i was in,had went by.Before i could do anything, the big rollers were there!I hit them around 65-67mph at about a 45degree angle. EekAs i passed over the first set,i hit the other side,in air, flew off the boat.I was still holding on the bars, not letting go for nothing.Oh yeah,i was scared.Right leg landed in the left foot well, landing on my knee, the other leg was bouncing off the hard water like skipping a rock. Mad OUCH!!! Right hand was then on the bottom right hand side of the seat, holding on for life.I was soaked,shook-up,and PISSED!I managed to get back on with alot of skin missing, and hit the gas before i hit the shore which was all rock in this area.Im very picky about speed run locations now. Razz That sandpaper grip tape is real hard on the knees.

You're a big guy. You should have found the wakeboard boat driver and ripped him a new one. Dude probably would have sh!t his pants seeing a pissed and bloodied Woody, skin all torn, storming across the ramp parking lot ready to introduce hell. Eek

I have witnesses:
I was houseboating at Lake Cumberland when we decided to rent some movies or get gas, I cant remember. I was on an Ultra 150 going WOT through the coves, and when I hit the main channel to get to the State Dock, it was like hitting a wall of concrete. The Ultra went about 100 yards forward and I did cartwheels for the fans watching on the houseboats.

After I reboarded the Ultra, I went to the State Dock, and decided to get gas. I was standing on the dock as the guy was gassing it up and my wife and another couple started laughing and calling me "buttman." Finally, my wife told me that the back of my bathing suit was GONE and only what white bathing suit mesh was covering my cheeks. The dude pumping gas acted like he gets mooned all the time, never even flinched. Thank God I had a shorty wetsuit onboard the Ultra.

That's F'in awesome, lol! Hey, you did a handfull of cartwheels off a WOTted performance ski. You're entitled to show a little cheek. Sh!t, you climbed right back on and motored away didn't you? That right there gives you free license to have snot hanging from your nose, butt cheeks exposed (like you sort of did, shoot, they were half covered up with fabric!), wang hanging beyond the mesh, huge beer gut not sucked in with hot babes in immediate vicinity. Suffice it to say, I don't think there's an enthusiast here who's taken a hard dump and climbed back on who wouldn't say, "bro, you were golden. Let the wifey and co. laugh it up. When it came down to it, when the horse threw you off you got back on like a real man."

Anyhow, just my $.02 Big Grin

the way I look at it, its a jetski, you are supposed to get wet riding it! Part of the houseboat vacation was the inaugural ride of the Jetski Naked party cove. I just got started a little earlier than everybody else.

I wish the pain in my back was funny right now. Heck I wish I had some spectacular story to tell. Nope, just getting older, and missing work due to back pains suck.

I got too caught up in "hydro ballet" and forgot to post my "hardest fall". Big Grin

1978 or 79, Lake Mathis ( Corpus Christi ), doing some "ride the rails" on my Kaw stand-up, decided to soak the girls on the pier next to ours, got about..oh..6' from the pier, leaned it hard, nailed the gas and WHAM caught the butt end on one of the pier pilings and the next the thing I know is I'm doing the "flying squirl" twisting til I land on ma face in the water. Worst part, come up for air, girls aren't laughing but mom on our pier is giving me a verbal butt-chewing about showing off...the only injury, my ego!
