Went to the St. Louis show last night. They have everything there except for the R12-X. Fell in love with the STXR, and the 1300R is nice too.

-Octane's handlepole is a lot heavier than the SXR-800...which is a sweet looking standup.

-Not impressed with the STX-12F four stroker from Kawi. Looked underpowered at only 125 horses, and just looked like any other STX, they could have at least redone the top deck.

-Dealer from Illinois tried to sell me a 2000 GPR for $8000, and give me $2700 for my GP on the trade. I told him 8G was wayyy too high so they came down to 7G on it. I told him it was still way too high....they tried to give me the "what do we have to do" speech, I walked out on them. They were idiots.

-There are two of the sweetest powerboats I've ever seen there. A Black Thunder 46 footer which was around $300,000, and a Guninger Marine 44 footer that was $700,000....they are custom built.
