Is it possible to supercharge or turbocharge a 2- stroke engine? what if it were a direct-injection 2-stroke? If not,why exactly? Could mods. be done to make it possible???Would it be worth the trouble???

Its called Pipes Its hard to presurize a 2 stroke engine with a turbo or supercharger because the intake port and exaust port on the cylinder is open at the same time

supercharge no, turbocharge yes...lots of sled 2stokes with turbos.

i think pwcs would cavitate too much..gotta remember there must be a reason the racers haven't done it..

but i admit i'd like to build one..

I was told, heat was the number one reason. Too hard to get rid of it at WOT on the skis.
