Helmet, Gloves, Good Life Vest, Good Foot Gear, Wetsuit or Motocross pants for safety measures although they are not required.
Racing is only as expensive as how fast and how competitive you want to be in your chosen class.

Excellent. Thanks. Appreciate it. One more question? Do all the racing venues have boat ramps to get your crafts into the water? anyone?

All the ones I race at do with the exception of the offshore endurance races. Most closed course races do though.

In addition to the above H2O you might want to consider some armour, namely leg guards and a spine guard, just this Saturday night while watching the Bercy race one of the riders fell only to be spaded by another boats nose in the back, the armour will go a long way to protecting you.
Go, what do you consider advantages of wearing the MX pants and do you wear them over the wet suit?

Hey Mario, they are thicker in terms of guarding in the knee and shin area. They breath better so they arent as good for cold water racing. We wear them over neo shorts to keep the important things warm in in check. Also have hip guards in them as well. Thor is the brand we went with. I dont see why you couldnt wear them over the wet suit though. As you stated, as much protection as you can get!!!

Thanks Go, I've been seeing racers use them more and more and wondered if they had a true purpose or if they were just a fashion statement, now I know it's time to get some so I can be stylin too Big Grin
