Are rash guards necessary with a wetsuit? I just bought a new Slippery wet suit. I have been told it's more of a fashion statement.

Not necessary in my opinion. Love your signature man

Rash guards are necessary to protect moving body parts that come into contact with eachother. Underarms, between your legs etc.. Been a surfer all my life and cant live without them. A full body wetsuit will give you a gnarly nipple rash after wearing it all day. Yes, I am serious about that.

Maybe my skin is made of leather, I don't know
You may need one or you may not. |

Thanks guys...I think I'll get one...It couldn't hurt.

Yes it depends on how sensitive your skin is, though a rash guard might produce a few problems of its own, but the friction caused by the rubber can actually burn after a long continuous ride, as in an ENDURANCE race Danny! LOL, From now on we'll call you leather nipples!!!
