Billabong's winning surf winner for this winter. PWC or not I would not be the one to jump in front of that mother:

a lot of times they use PWC to get the surfer up to speed to catch a wave. i've surfed in hurricane weather up here before... but i doubt i'd have the brass to surf on those waves!

that is pure nuts....I remember back a few months ago when that last hurrican came from the Gulf across the the atlantic I was out there at least10 times...Ok, so the surf was not THAT big..but there were times when i was down in a trough of one wave, and could look up at the next wave coming and no lie it was at least a 20 foot wall of water....There were 2 instances when I just had to call it quits, this was just when it started to cool off last fall so there werent many peopel still riding...I have also done some tow-in for a couple of friens...Ill tell you what, we have it easy!!! try getting out in those waves WITHOUT 150+ horsepower to do the work for you.....

Rent Billabong Odessey and see these guys in action being towed into the most ridiculous waves in the world. Cinematography is awesome and if you have a nice 5.1 system, crank it!! I wouldn't say "next best thing to being there" but pretty exciting to watch.

i will live on lahaina the west side of the island 30 miles from jaws but i was on the water on a stock waveventure 700 no very fast for these waves now i will have my blasters ready these will give me good power to try these jumps but i hop i dont have to call the hellicopter to retrive my ski drom the rocks they have a fix price of $600 for the recue well is cain off expensive if you consider you will get just parts if you make out alive
wen i was on the ski they give me a air tank atach to a belt you have arround 3 minutes off air if you go down the surfer carry other just in case they consider good waves wen is 45 to 65 other ways is not good very scary no?
