I've been enjoying both the F12 and F12x Hondas for the past couple of months. Although the F12 is a great overall ski, I really want something to match my Turbo. So I'am thinking about selling the F12 and more than likely going with a Gp1200r. What would be a fair trade-in price or what should I expect to get for it? It's in mint shape with 30 hours. I shoulda bought 2 f12x's but what's done is done. I'll give my wife the F12x and I'll ride the yammy. It cost my $8999.00 for the F12...my guess is that I would get around $6500-$6800 for it? THanks for any suggestions or input you can provide.

Hi Afrocreme!
Just a suggestion here. The Yamaha dealer that sponsors me, Yamaha of San Antonio, also owns Honda of New Braunfels. If I were you, I'd take the Honda to Troy at Yamaha of San Antonio to do the deal. Seeing as how he also owns the Honda store, you'll probably get your best deal there. Tell him I sent you and you'll probably even get a better deal! Smile I don't think you'll be disappointed at all with the GPR!! I have a '01 and wouldn't ride nothing else. Well, maybe my tuner's '00 but that's about all you'll find me on. Good luck with your trade!! Big Grin

I would expect you to get more than that for it. Since they are in fairly high demand and the dealers are not coming off the price too much, you could probably get a good price for it if you sold it yourself. If you have to time to put it in the paper, it will usually help. If the market is anything like it is here, it will be gone in no time. My 1200R was in boat trader for 2 hours before it sold.

Good luck, and glad to see you want to buy a real ski Smile
