I want to put a nice walk area on my trailer and I want some weight up front, and rust proof. Probably 3 ft x 6 ft. section but diamond plate would cost almost as much as the trailer, if anyone has a cheaper suggestion.

your signature is classic, nice, as far as a suggestion (not to mention you dont want a slippery surfact) a say make sift a platform out of pressure treated wood, sorta do a deck frame lay out underneath (2*4) and then use (2*6) ontop, use proper fasteners U bolts around the tounge of the trailor... if any othe that made sense hopefully.
