Hey guys, a member here named DC has a web site that he graciously sets up rider's forums for riders from a certain area. He has already setup a North Texas rider forum for us DFW area riders to plan rides and so forth.

We use this along with a mailing list to discuss rides and other topics to keep from overflowing someone's email account who might not be interested in that ride or topic. It works well in conjunction with an email list, because you can send a single email stating that you started a new thread and direct interested parties to the website to discuss it.

I am sure if anyone was interested, he would also setup a Houston area rider forum on the same site. Would anyone be interested in this?

Cajundude and I had a good time with our new GP12's this weekend. Worth every single penny!

We also met Fercho, Coop, Mick, Jeff, and David down at Clear Lake. Aside from a few early-season glitches (Mick!), everybody had a good time. We appreciate all the tips and advice from the veterans.

Nope, didn't get to make the down South trip, but did sneak a few hours in in the afternoon on Sunday. The boats are broken in and are running like bats out of h*ll. We were so happy yesterday when we both completely smoked a ski boat. That's when we said, "ok, these are worth every freakin' penny." We should definitely be out there Saturday and probably Sunday coming up. One of us will send out an e-mail. Again, it was good to meet all of you.

Thanks for the advice on the cables Fercho, we got 'em loosened up as soon as we got home.
