Here in the U.K. we have unleaded and lead replacement fuel. The lead replacement fuel is for older classic cars that need the lead for valve lubrication, (as i read it).

I am running, basically a Riva stage 2 kit with D plate, what do I use?

Unleaded is rated at 95 ron, and lead replacement is 96. Shell optimax is 97, but it is an hours drive to nearest station for me.
I have been told that 97 octane Euro spec fuel is the same as U.S 92.
If this is the case, and optimax is not a regular option,do I go with lead replacement, or unleaded?
If they are both under par, do I use a octane booster, and if so, which one?, or will the lead replacement be fine?
I have just had a e-mail from STP products saying their octane booster is a no no for 2 strokes.
Thanks.

stage 2 is supposed to be pump gas friendly isn't it? 150 compression or less? pump gas ignition curve? us92 is fine for us..no lead..it won't help with detonation in 2 stroke. Call riva and discuss or email them
