in RALEIGH..

Here's the story:

Over 2 weeks ago he needed a used GP1200R cylinder. He didn't care if it needed re-plating. I sent him my old 1200r cylinder and told him it came from a blown engine. Fine no problems. He wanted it ASAP and it was Saturday of Memorial day weekend. I had company coming from out of town but I went ahead and tried UPS but they were closed. I then went across town (with company fresh off the plane) to the post office. I spent 40 bucks to get it there by monday (this was saturday). Laszlo said thanks. yea right. I told him to just drop a check in the mail for the price of the cylinder 75 bucks and 35 for the shipping, 110 bucks. I didn't send it COD cause I know he has a business in Raleigh NC and I figured what da heck..gotta trust some people. I then sent him another email that same day and told him to make it just 100 bucks. Nice guys finish last eh?.

It takes NO MORE THAN 2 days for regular mail to go from here to there and vice versa. 1 week later...still no check. I sent him an email and he replied that he's been busy and will get it out to me. 8 days have gone by since then and no replies to my email and NO CHECK.

IS THIS THE KIND OF PERSON YOU WANT WORKING ON YOUR SKI?

JUST THE FACTS MAME

What a jerk!! I'm still trying to figure out how guys like him and so many others from these 3rd world countries are over here buying 7-11's, Wawa's, and Gas Stations. Makes sense I guess, my family has spent the past 60 years fighting for this country like so many others and I am stuck cleaning carpets living day by day as an honest man unlike these untrustworthy characters. Guess I went off topic, but oh well, never hurts to hear a little more truth!

I got an email today from the dealer. He has been having problems (not business related) I am not going to discuss his personal email here on this forum but in the case of justice and equality...I am posting this follow-up to say.. He will make payment to me.

I am just disappointed that he didn't answer any of my emails all week. That would have kept all of this from going public. I am not apologizing but I am offering an explanation.

Overnighting something and waiting OVER 2 weeks w/o an explanation will cause this type of reaction from time to time.

Communication would have prevented all this.

Thank you Laszlo for making this go away.
