iread an article on those somewhere that because of the shear speed they can carry through the corners they can do a hotlap at sears point or willow springs faster than a nascar car

I saw that video a couple of years ago. You talk about a lopsided power-to-weight ratio that favor's power!!!! Eek Eek Wouldn't mind giving a try at least once.

I saw that video a while ago. The one I saw showed some more info. It's actually a GSXR 1000 engine they put on a go kart. that's some crazy power.

My old friend in Indy had a old Honda 600cbr Engine on one....it was insane. The largest problem with it was getting the power to the ground. They acutally race these in lower Cali from what I've heard. I rode the 600 and it was insane fast...however very easy to spin due to the weight on the rear. Brakes also did not last long.
