What are you guys using for anchors? I don't need one when i go into the ocean since i just beach it, but when i go in the river i don't beach it due to rocks along the shore. I was looking for something not too expensive. Do the bags filled with sand actually work?
Thanks, Greg

I think the sand bags work best, specially if you fill with rocks. The others work well too, but they will be bouncing in your bucket which really tears the bucket appart.

Try the the cork screw style dog leash thing...thats what i use...tie a 4ft rope on the swivel and screw it in the ground in like 3 ft of water they hold well.Plus it fits perfect in your storage bucket.

I like the sand bag type also. The ones I have double as tow ropes with clips on both ends. When you're not using them you zip up the ropes, clips, and buoys right in the bag.

The soft fillable kind are the most versatile. It may take a little work to fill them up, but they don't beat your PWC up when traveling on the water like a steel or rigid anchor! Sorry they aren't online. We do sell them though. Contact our parts reps to order or for more information. I'll be sure to get them up on our site Monday!
