DAN P,

Texas Championship "Overall" not just closed course. You must combine CC and Slalom for overall. How have you done in Slalom? This is also as of last race not saying season is over. From what I saw at the races today, David will still be number one overall unless the official results have some surprises. My unofficial results have David finishing 4th in closed course and 2nd in Slalom.

The other posts......clueless.

Hey NewGPR!
Duh!! I do believe most riders in Region 5 or any other region for that matter know how overall points are tallied. You sure seem very protective of Mr. McLendon's position in Region 5. It just seems that post you started with was geared toward the season being over. I don't see where it was mentioned that your results were posted "AS OF ROUND 4". As far as slaloms, I've probably been on a slalom course more than you've been on a ski. Typical placing is 2nd, 1st and an occasional 3rd or 4th. Where are you ranked in your region?? I assume you run endurance in CA??? Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Oh! Speaking of "from what I saw this this weekend" I saw a TSI Performance ski trying to go to the bottom of the lake Saturday during course setup. I hope the dude that owns that ski was able to get it taken care of quickly. It was going down FAST! I was too busy getting work done to go over and see what the deal was but from where I was standing, it didn't look good. From what I read elsewhere it was no fault of the owner of the ski. Hope he got it running again. Frown

Salom, only go's towards Regonal standings anyway. You can win the regon and it is still possible to not make Havasu or Nationals. That may not be the case for David but it is possible.
IMO, if you want to know who is winning look at the USRC
