Hello,

Does anybody use their ski to pull a wakeboarder? If so do you have any feedback you can share with me as to how you and the boarder likes it. Does anyone use a ski pylon on the back of the ski for water sking or wakeboarding or wakeskating?

Later,
Wake

We typically use our boat but have used our 97 Seadoo GSX from time to time. It is nice cause manuvureing is much easier than with the boat. (23.5 Feet long) Plus it was kinda fun pulling my buddy down the lake at 45 MPH, lol! Yeah, I like using the Jetski. Works out good. I dont use my GPR though.

I wakeboard all the time behind my XL800. The 800 pulls me up fine. Waveruner's really do not kick up that big of a wake, so really all you can do is practice grabs and small jumps. It’s a ton of fun to get some friends and go wakeboarding. When some one carves far out it will tend to pull the back of the ski around a little bit, only the driver can notice it. You might want to get a tube and try that too, those are tons of fun to slinging you friends off of at 35mph. Also make sure where your riding is deep enough that when you fall you wont hit the bottom. Don’t believe those signs that say water sports area before you start riding check to see how deep it is. I fell and buy butt hit the bottom and that did not feel that good, lucky that was not a oyster bed there.

Youch! I am thinking of buying for this season, a towable tube that Polaris has in their catalog, it is a nice-looking circular two-seater with kind of backrests and armrests, looks fairly luxurious!, I want to put my g/f's two 9-year old (twin) daughters in it so we can all enjoy the pwc together. (Instead of me getting in trouble for going out riding while Karen is stuck at home or elsewhere with the girls!)

I've pulled biscuits (tubes) all the time no hassles as well as skiers they like it better as some else said that the jetski does no make much of a wake i haven't tried a wakeboard yet but i would like to make or buy a bar so that i can get the tow point up higher
