I dropped by "old faithful" (my Yami dealer) and he told me that their annual meeting for Yamaha is scheduled for next week and they're going to be releasing the '03 model lineup. As soon as I know something.... I'll be sure to post it here!

fuel injection...i'm praying for it. Maybe I need to get ready to sell my GPR for one with fuel injection.

I'm hoping they start working on ways to cut weight like they do with the sport bikes but I'm not holding my breath

So what is the update on this? Does anyone know when the real yamaha release of new models is? I haven't seen anything on the Yamaha website yet.

I just got a fax response to a fax I sent to the R&D guys saying they received and read the fax I sent them aknowledging the issues of improving some performance problems. They say Quote,( our 03 watercraft line will be announced mid August. We think we have some exciting new models you'll be happy to see.) Not sure what that means but at least I got a response from them. rp

How about powervalve issues or the R's hook up in chop and pump plug kits etc etc.........I don't own a R but plan on keeping up w/ Stage II's next season no prob...

If you go to the watercraft part of the sight, the fx-140 icon....it'll tell you when they release them on the sight, i think its like aug 15 and 12 noon i cant remember
