I heard that if you urinate in your wet suit in cold weather it will keep you preety warm and toasty. Has anyone tied this i would think it would be pretty unhealthy you could possibly get some type of infection sitting in your urine. Someone please let me know before I try it .

I never (ever) peed in my suit, I really couldn't, that's also why I never lend a wetsuit, and if I do, it becomes a "loaned" suit.

Well, "technically", It would keep you warmer, since it would help bond the "wetsuit" material to you providing a hydrothermal layer.

First, it’s your (hopefully) wet-suit.
Second, I’ve heard of people actually drinking a cup of their urine every day, more holistic crap. From what I’ve heard this can be done safely because urine is supposed to be sterile.

But like raider2 said; be sure to clean it out real good or else it might start smelling like a cowboy bar outhouse.

And yes I’ve peed my wetsuit.

Oh I almost forgot. DO NOT EVER PEE IN A DRY SUIT.

Do what we do when we go scuba diving in cold water. We bring hot water in large thermos or insulated coolers. Before we go in we pull back the neck and poor in the warm water. It stays toasty for some time because it gets trapped between you and the suit.

I would do that if i was surfing and the water is going in and out of the suit but not in a wetsuit that your riding around in on a sitdown not even getting wet anyway

well up her in nh region 8 if you asked that question to lee ann, norm , spanky, fat a$$ mike ...they would all tell you "IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY ???YOU HAVE TO **** IN YOUR SUIT " they all do and spanky ( mike desmaris) region 8 expert ski claims to do hand stands while he pees in his wetsuit ....funny guys and girls up here ....but for real they do pee in there suits year round...and they make fun of me cause i dont ...

Great jelly fish sting antidote too

Sometimes your left with no choice. I don't like to but I'm not going to call it a day because I have to pee. If you stand it will run down your leg and you can basically drain it.

This question reminds me of people who have claimed they have never picked their nose or other things nobody likes to talk about but everyone has done.

I wish they made a wet suit with a zipper on the front for us nonsurfers.

i used to do these all the time untill i did the same on my dry suit by mistake i still do these all the time but now i just doble check which suit i have on

THATS ROUGH!

As a fellow diver, in between dives on deck, waiting for then next profile, one becomes quite toasty in there wetsuit, then when you jump into the water... that cold water flows fast into the wetsuit causing for a major SHOCK!

Pee in the suit while in the water... amkes for a nice heater, and since your already submerged the pee stays in place for a little while.

I agree that for a runabout, that would be alittle disconcerning, yes urine is sterile, but sitting in nothing but pee is yuck.
