ha you guys are funny! Gotta admit I always leave this forum smiling. Mario I am running 1200 Limited Beginner because last year my tripple piped gp kept blowing up & never made a race, looks like this will be the 1st of my 3 races in beginner. not sure what vehicle i'll use to trailer my boat down there(nissan altima or quad cab tacoma), but as you guys have read it is a 97 gp painted riva blue # 819. Hope we can find each other. hey 99_gprider, don't you have close to the same setup on your gp as I do? Any reason for not racing? Lastly anyone know when I gotta be there? I should be leaving nj around 2:30pm on Saturday. What time & where is check in on sunday? Thanks

Hey Mario what are you mad about? Because I might go to triples?? Heck that is the only other way I won't get spanked in the Limited class against all the other triple boats....

NJ I have a green 96 Tahoe with NH tags PWCLVR (no it is not power cleaver like everyone thinks). Towing a 2 place trailer with the 00 GP1200R and a green 01 Yami BigBear400 4x4 on it. I will be getting into Colonial Beach sometime between 2-4 a.m. Saturday morning then testing and tuning all day Saturday. Let me know if you need a hand with anything. Hope to hook up with Brian and maybe he can do a once over on the boat to make sure everything is all set.. Hint Hint Brian are you reading this.. Call me on my cell when you get into town if it is early enough 617-840-1671 and you need help unloading or transporting to the water.

As for Sunday I would be at the beach around 6 or so just to get ready. I think the riders meeting is at like 7:30 or so.

thanks pat. just reserved a room at the days inn. i expect to be there around 8pm or so. just gonna put the gp on a doulbe trailer, so i don't foresee any unloading problems untill I'm at the race site - thanks though. I'll give you a call on my way down/in to touch base and say hi. Hope my ski runs ok, looks like this weekend is already shot for testing. Hope that bog i encountered last week wasn't anything major. ski felt like it loaded up for no reason and wouldn't rev out... aaahh no biggie we'll see how she runs. Are they running endurance at this race? If so when does it occur compared to the closed corse event? I'd be interested in doing both.

Endurance is a 7 a.m. start with a riders meeting I believe at either 6:30 or 6:45.. It is also 1 1/2 hours for the Watersport Productions endurance races. I am doing both endurance and novice 1200 limited closed course. Well at least I know for sure I am doing endurance we will see what my body feels like after that race to see if I make it to the closed course side of it.

Holy $H|+!!!

I didn't realize it was next weekend. Time flys.

Anyway nj I'm little more than stock. I've never really even watched a race so I just want to observe and learn. If I get my car back into shape this weekend(tranny swap) I'll be there.

Being that I'm only 1 and a 1/2 hours away from Colonial, I'll ride down to meet you guys. I was'nt going because I leave for the Bahamas in the morn and will just be getting back then. I hope I'm sober enough by then.
Hope to see you guys there.

I will be at the races. I am bringing my ATV and beach cart. I will be picking up a ski to bring back to the shop. While I am there and anyone needs help look me up. I will be driving a blue and silver truck with company signs on it.
I will be there on Sunday only. Call me if you are going and would like some help. Big Grin

Unfortunately I am taking this year off from racing. In the last 3 years my elbows have been rebuilt and scoped 5 times. This all started from a crash I had racing at Colonial beach in the sport class, on a SeaDoo HX about 6 years ago. They cant take it anymore. Frown

But on the good side it will allow more time for testing projects and service work.

See you all there
Big Grin Smile
