My buddy Jarrett, who has been a loyal customer and supporter of this site has been threatened with expulsion for responding to attacks from a forum member who has never spent a dime at your shop and who has never contributed in any meaningful way. I deem this unfair and a bad business move. I maybe wrong, but I think some thought should enter into the equation. Those who care about being banned are those who care about your business and your site. Banning those who patronize your business in favor of those who don't doesn't seem to be very smart. But then again, I'm just a potential customer with an opinion that differs from yours. Were I a non-customer with a divisive opinion, I would not fear retribution. Just a thought.
while i dont support flaming or any of the such(also not sure of the situation you are referin to with jarett) i dont think that basing board politics on who has bought what is the best idea.
arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics...... even if ya win your still a retard.

Boggs, in all fairness, you have not ever run a business. You have never had to decide whether a flame thrower is more important to your livelihood than a customer. As a business owner, I know what is more important. You are a smart kid. Not that my opinion is more important than yours. But you haven't been in business yet.
Our goal with the RIVA Forums is to provide our members with a constructive venue to exchange information. It is a constant challenge to our moderator to know when to draw the line between discussions, sarcastic humor, personal attacks, etc. We do our best to protect all of our members from a negative, uncomfortable environment due to bashing & profanity. In doing so our actions are sometimes questioned as unnecessary "censorship". We want to assure our members that these actions are aimed at promoting a positive environment for the exchanging of information and minimizing negative squabbling.
Thank you, RIVA Management
