heading for the grand bahamas [west end] next tuesday! went there last year, such a beautiful place. any one ever done any fishing there? or riding? going to pull the ski, that way if we hit a storm i can unhook and have some real fun!!

My friend goes to Florida, Panama City once a year. He left for Florida last Friday. Well as you can guess, he finally got to get his GPR out today for the first time, The tropical storm Bill has caused several problems for him. He is heading home tomorrow night. Sad story. I am glad I didn't go

right! we're hoping that we hit a good window next week, last year coming back we were triing to beat the storm and the seas werent to bad 6 to 8 foot, hitting 10 once in awile but we were playing it cheap and bought fuel from the locals instead of the tourist spot, anyway by the time we hit the gulf streem both motors died and then would only run just above an idle. the the service lady pumped out of gas pump but it was diesal!! thought we were getting gas but the tanker must have filled the wrong tank!! luckily we had over 1/2 a tank when we filed up. this year we'll go with the tourist spot and still smell first.lol was hoping someone on here might have some fishing charts of the bahamas on cd, maybe download it from them. were going to try for some tuna anyway! bringing some smoke baby backs so if we dont catch anything we can trade.lol

bar set-up, thought about that, think i'll disconnect and plug the line in at the pump, and hook it back up when i get there. think it will work?

found a nautical map of the area with way pionts for fishing spots plus talked to a capt over there via the phone and got a few way pionts that arent on the map! cant wait. by the way happy 4th to all!
