Bill i think im gonna come out and play with you guys this weekend if the weather holds up.. I have to go down to Brigantine and pull it out of the shore house, then i should be making my way back up that direction approximately at noon.

Cant wait to come back to good ol flat water again, riding in the waves is fun, but nothin beats top speed river runs, and slamming into the dam buoys

We put in at ramp off of the Gladwyn exit off of the Schuylkill Expressway. Lower Merion Park. Plenty of parking, but Isabel took out the floating dock so bring an anchor or in-the-water stand. Sunday looks like the best day so far.

We might have a go at it on Sunday! Weather looks good for a Schuylkill River ride.

for the time being, im still down for the count with the gpr...

drysuit only man. u go in the drink when the water is in the 30's u dont have much time in a drywsuit before it gets cold.

in the real cold stuff (just above freezing) i wear, 2 layers of thermals, sweatsuit, thermal socks under plastic booties under neoprene wetsuit boots, neoprene wetsuit hood with ski hood over it and a pair of heavy duty neoprene hunting gloves. i also fill a large cooler with boiling water before i leave the house...those toes and fingers can get numb in 60mph winds rather fast....

sounds fun ha! i should do some barefooting off the ice this year, now that turns heads!
