Anyone else get strange looks from their neighbors when you take your ski's out for a winter ride?

well , a cali. winter and a pennsylvania winter are entirely 2 different things. but i did get weird looks from people at the gas station when i was gassin up in the fall when it was 60 degrees or so.

Got some funny looks from my son's friends moms when we were heading out on 50 degree days. They wanted to go shopping at the mall!! YIKES!!!

I hate my neighbors and they hate me so I don't care if they look or not.
Main thing is that I get out of the house while they have nothing to do.

Yes..as a matter of fact. I took jumper out last Thursday..started racing cars down the causeway, funny looks indeed. Went to the Gulf, fishheads just shook their heads. I was the ONLY ski out..much less boats. There were only Charter boats out. We've had a real cold spell down here, it's been 50-60 degrees in the daylight...brrrrrr.

Just chock it up to being a hardcore jetskier...love it.

50-60 degrees? Hope you wear a drysuit with that!
We're still here busy riding in high of 30 days here in PA.

I get strange looks from the old lady next door when I'm flushing my boat. It's kinda loud with a D plate and FF. The last time she came out on the porch and stared at me, I turned the rear of the boat to face her porch and gunned it for about 10 seconds. She was totally engulfed in a cloud of smoke, and I've never seen her again!

I hate winter...

on my ride yesterday there were some fishheads on the ramp right behind me...as I was putting on my shortie, they were putting on full raingear, hats, mittens and the whole 9.....I have waterski'd in 49 ambient, 50 somthing water temp..but that was just to prove something, now that its proven..I aint ever doing it again!

Full throttle I will let you know if i get any funny faces.I am going out tomorrow ,can't wait to see the peoples face when i gas up my ski .

I think im going to pull mine out next weekend.Whats going to look real funny is me sitting in my empty hull with paddles hanging out each side with a fishing pole and power bait dangling off it! Thats ok,ported 1300cc triple piped monster is on the plate!
