Just got back from the race at Seaside Heights. My ski isn't fast by any means but it is quick! Where excatly would these runs take place? Do you have a nice quiet cove picked out?? I should be able to come out for some fun!!

ramnj knows the location....so does need4pwr. will need them to give directions. supossedly its a "perfect" spot. from what i hear, there may not be a good place to shoot the gun.... if there is no place to set up the laptop we cant use the ats software....

if i leave my boat set up the way it is....i would like to see what my boat does against a stxr set up for closed course...if i dont....you'll definately take me from a holeshot. i have to tune more to find out what i will run that day.

unfortunately there will be no comparison with mudbug as the salt will rob some top end, but I wish an event like this had taken place when I was still up there, would have been fun. I guess someone from a far away place will run to NY hoping that there is a beatable boat up there since the Mudbug experience was so embarrassing, too bad the Island crew will be unlikely to appear so as to disipline him further. we typically see a speed increase from lake hopatcong to down the shore.

if people think that the speed numbers will be better in fresh....im more then happy staying up here on hopatcong or going over to budd lake. if we do budd lake i have an almost perfect location to do radar runs....just not a very big place to ride....but again, typically i have seen my numbers rise going to the shore.

Same here....I'm down for Seaside Heights....just hope I get the pipe back from FP in time.

And i'm sure Brendan will take out his Stage II+ RXP if we do it in Seaside.

Hop, thats what I like to hear.
Lately this board only talk about how fast the ski down south, I was there to witness them. I like to see North guys showing up with high 70's single and mid 80's triples. My triple is not even doing what their single is doing Red Face, but then again I dont have ported BB ski.

It is a great spot, but unfortunately you won't be able to setup the laptop.

There is another spot that might also work. Region 8 has races there and its glass and has parking and a ramp. You can also setup a laptop there. The tourist are gone so it shouldn't be a problem setting up there. need4power knows where I'm talking about.

HopatcongGPR I live in Toms River and have a Gp1300r and work at the rental place along the beach there. There is a ramp just for boats which i run but there will be no problem with launching skies and plenty of parking. Setting up the gun and laptop will be no problem because there is a dock that extends out and plenty of beach. The spot is always flat as glass and plenty of room for bouy course. If anything else you need to know just ask. To see some pics of the place http://www.mppics.com click on the jetski and there are plenty of pics of racing and some of the spot.

I think I know this spot, too the left after you cross the bridge. Same location as the Region 8 Races? Good Choice!

Hoptacong, its the place NJGPRIDER is talking about. On the link you posted you can see the area. Its just north of the bridge after you reach Seasideheights. The ramp belongs to the rental place, which by now is closed and anybody can use it.
