you guys looking mostly just to do speed runs all day long with everybody? or you anticipate riding around a bit? and is fuel on the water in that area easily accessible?

what about PWCtoday.com? there are a TON of guys on that board from the long island, NY, jersey area.....

and snkypete.com/forum also.... tons of guys with skis on that site that live in the area...

and Chrsitmas week run... literally!? that'd be sweet, i think it's about time i invest in a drysuit or some kinda winter riding gear... usually i;m not to safe as i wear a wetsuit, snow pants, a jacket, hat, gloves.... life vest woldn't work, i think i'd sink, haha

im game for a cruise on the bay side.

get a baggy drysuit like the one overtons sells. i wear a sweat suit and thermals under it in the real cold stuff. i have riden with the lakes half frozen in high 20 degree weather.....gloves, hat, the hole 9 yards.....overtons has cold water socks and hoods also...riding in a snow storm takes the cake.

You won't have to worry to much about me doing any speed runs all day. I'm stock and only manage about 62 on the gps. Maybe a little faster now that I'm getting use to my girl.. Smile

SMW, depending on the time of your friend's baptism, you might be able to show up and still make it back home for your commitment.

NjGP800,

There are some guys that are going to ride some surf later that day.

The ride from where we are meeting to the ocean is long so plan on gasing up by the light house. If you need 93 octane, be carefull. I don't have personal knowledge of this but I've heard that the gasoline at the bay is not the best, but I could be wrong. As long as you only need 86 octane you should be ok.

Just my opinion.

Does anyone have a exact address of where we are meeting? Or, at least a address very close. I need something to plug into my map gps software to plot our drive.
Thanks,
Steve

Just plug Seaside Heights, NJ, and once you cross the bridge take 35 North (I think you have to take a jughandle that will put you on 35N). About 1/2 miles you will see a parking lot on your left and the place where we will be riding. You will have to make a u-turn, but I'm not sure where at.

need4speed might be able to give you better directions.

I looked at the latest list 9/23/05 and I guess DMD & Shibby are not coming?

I think we should all aim for a time to meet...what about between 8:00am and 9:00am?

Get to the Garden State Parkway.

Take exit #82/RT-37 EAST onto LITTLE LEAGUE WORLD CHAMPIONS BLVD toward ISLAND BEACH STATE PARK/SEASIDE HTS

After the Long Bridge, Take ramp onto RT-35 NORTH toward SEASIDE HTS/PT PLEASANT

NOTE: You will see the Ramp/Beach area on the (Southbound Side) after the Jug Handle to RT-35 NORTH.

Make the First U-Turn you can (gets tricky) and come back south.

<<Thank you ramnj for the pic above>>
