Bulls Island is on the other side of the state on the Delaware River. Its nice for standup skies but not too much room for sitdowns. Plus the water police has been known to be there giving tickets left and right...some rightfully deserved, some not.

I don't think we have to worry about the attention. I have gone to the races at Seaside every year to watch and the only spectators I have seen are friends and family of the racers.

From that site, there are a lot of places we can go if anybody doesn't feel comfortable in that place, but like I said, I don't think there is anything to worry about.

The tourist season is over and the place is deserted. We will have it all to ourselves.

Just got off the phone with the State Trooper's office at Newark and Point Pleasant.

We do not need a permit.

We do have to abide by the New Jersey laws in terms of permits and safety equipment (common sense).

You might want to contact the local government offices as State Police doesnt necessarily enforce laws that might be in the books for specific municipalities and as you know in this country one office might not have a clue what the other is doing, just for grins and giggles you should contact local law enforcement and/or city hall.

Law enforcement officials have been contacted, the county office in Seaside Heights has been contacted, I even contacted my dad in PR and asked if it was ok for us to go to Seaside Heights and he said it was OK, and so did everybody else.

Now, please lets get back to the topic.

Are the guys from the south coming up Confused

How about North of us Confused

How about Island Racing and their guys Confused

Or is everybody just scared of the Northeast Big Grin

if the site we are going to has no wake bouys present, we can not do speed runs there. its that easy. if there is no bouys present we must maintain the state required distance from the docks and shores.

its dependent on the bouys.

leave it at that, see you on sunday.

i highly doubt anyone from down south will come up.

carl will not be there. so there is nothing to be "scared" about Big Grin

If its not too much trouble that would be great. I've been monitoring my ski's progress this year on a spread sheet and would like to have that information.

Guys: I went out earlier today to check the "no wake" buoy situation. They're still there! In other words, the speed runs will have to be further away from the beach. Luckily, it has been glass all day and should remain so for tomorrow. Meet at the beach along Rt 35 South anyhow. There's plenty of "free" water nearby.

and here i am. sitting at home wishing i was riding and making some new, good friends out there. darn family commitments suck. the caterer was late with the food and it was the worst anyway. 1 slice of ham or turkey on a roll, sorry ,croisant, and potato salad, turkey salad or pasta salad. and it was 20 bucks a head. if i was the one paying, the guy would be going home empty-handed. i should have cancelled
