Hey Guys,
I want to buy a new trailer, had a karavan one but hate it, its axel rots out really quick and it sits to high. So who recomends what, any takers on loadrite or ventures?

I had an aluminum one - frame bent, so I would stick with steel

One word..ShoreLand'r. Awesome trailer, top quality components and curved crossmembers which will get your boat lower. I love mine!!

I have a ShoreLand'r trailer for my ski. It's the base model single-ski trailer, but it is still very nice. I've added a few things to it. I put a 3rd wheel on it and am swapping the non-sealed taillights for sealed ones. Still very nice and looks good.

OK, if you have the PWC1000 keep in mind the tail lights are waterproof but not sealed. The Dry Launch light is open at the bottom but the rest is sealed, so when you back into the water the light traps air in the upper portion keeping the bulb and electrics dry (think of a gl*** upside-down in the water). The nice thing about those lights is you can change the bulbs without replacing the whole light.

If you get a shorelander make sure it's GALVANIZED. I had a painted one (white) and it rotted through and through no matter how well I flushed the salt water, and I even treated and used salt-away after every ride.

I was lucky enough to get one second hand. I have the one that puts two PWC's up front and a boat in the back. It is very well constructed. All wires are enclosed in the square steel tubes (no exposed wires) and the lights are cut into the trailer. Just go to the site and see for yourself.

I agree MrWilliam, Shadowtrailers are hard to beat. I purchased one two years ago and had it shipped to Houston. The custom ordered galvanized double pwc trailer I purchased was pricey but worth every dime.

With 80,000 PWC's in Florida, I've seen every type. Weather it's a Carvan, Performace, Shorlander, Shadow, MagicTilt ... they're all about the same with little differances.

The best PWC trailer I've seen is a Triton. The reason, they're well thoughtout, using a low riding double cradle design, made of heavy-gauge "shaped" aluminum with minimal welds. Not only that, the GPR hull fits well on them. Their lights are built in and the trailes have multiple tie-down mounts so you can run the cinch strap up-and-over the back of the ski.

I doubt they're cheap but my next ski will be sitting on one. If you looking for the best, check them out.
