i just pulled my nose cone last night to go synthetic fluid and found the rubber o-ring gasket decayed. there was water emulsified with the grease from last season and it looks as if the bearings must be replaced.
with that said, I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND YOU CHECK THE SEAL CONDITION IN YOUR NOSE CONE! it may just save you a set of bearings! 15 hours ago was the last i checked the pump grease and all looked well with the seal. btw: i cant post on the performance forum, so thats why this is here. |
