I can tell you that the RXP is better on gas. Everytime i ride with any type of modded GPR they have to find a place to get gas and mix oil, while i'm still over half full.

Performance wise, flat water a faster GPR will walk right by, but if there's any chop he's done.

The RXP will require at least 91 octane.

A 75mph dependable regular use ski that runs on low octance gas with a great hull that you don't have to wrench on much. - Yea I'm still dreaming of this one also.

If you have ever heard of "The Package" it will put you in the upper 70's and it will still be a rec ski.

The GPR would require 93 octane once you started modding it the way I assume you would.

Not so! I have gone DEEP into my engine and I can run 91 with out an issue. I've done the heads, porting, and much much more!

sounds like i might have a problem w/ the gas on the lake. was interviewed this weekend by the news gassing up my new 29ft chap.....4.90 a gallon for 87...stopped selling 91 and 93 anywhere on the lake because no one was buying it....this is bad news since the boat engine and the pwc replacements i am looking at, not to mention my current gpr hate anything less than 92

As far as hunting or wandering with the RXP, cant you just throw Performance sponsons on to eliminate that problem to make it more stable. I have been ejected once already at 60 mph. and I got knocked out with a concusion and sprained my left ankle as I came back over head over feet. I didnt ride the rest of the sumer and was scared, ofcourse I worked myself back into it and have ben back to normal for a few years now.
