hey riva crew,
i need your help, my 1994 sea-doo gtx model #5862 will only run (and not well at all) unless i pull the choke out about 1/4 of the way. this to me is a lean bog, not enough fuel right? even when i get up on plane after a couple of seconds it will just die, the engine will restart and the hole thing can be repeated.
so i pulled the carbs and replaced all gaskets and o-rings and diaphrams, new fuel filter and set the low speed and high speed screws where i thought they should be low 1 1/2 out and hi 3 out. still does the same thing, is there a vacume leak some where? when i hit the trigger it just bogggggs, close the choke and it runns but not crisp and still dies out, what am i missing? any help is much appreciated.
rfc

ok guys,
let's here from someone, there has to be someone who has been through this!
let me add this, i hooked the gtx up to the garden hose on my drieway and it runns pretty good, i can crack the throtle and no bogging, i went around to the back of the craft and could here sometimes what sounded like scrapping of the impeller in the housing, is this normal? so i pulled the the shroud off the pto and felt the bearing and it was HOT this was after only a couple of minutes, is this normal? i have keept it greased well since i got the thing.if the bearing is bad does that overload the engines power? or is it possible the old 94 has multiple problems.
thanks rfc
