Hey guys Im selling my skis. Ive had a few replies from overseas ( england to be exact.) I dont really want to mess around with selling overseas. the guys who e mailed me said they will have someone pick up the skis and trailer and ship it to them. I may be paranoid but it sounds like a scam to me. Dont know why. I heard of a lot of people selling skis on e bay with pics that are of someone elses ski(s). I personally dont want to screw around with a overseas buyer even though they said they will pay my asking price
What is your guys opinion.
I prefer to have a local sale

I think it is a scam. I had some from England saying that they were an agent for a customer in Africa that wanted to buy a parts car that I had on Ebay.

They could only pay by money order and wanted me to pay the shipping company with the excess left over form the sale.

Needless to say they didn't want to use Paypal.

NO SALE to them.

I would have to disagree, But theese condtions would have to be meet:

1. Cash in hand before you release the ski to ANYONE.

2. The third party who is going to pick up ski comes and gets it, and they can prove who they say they are.

3. Ski is signed over to the person before leaving your ownership.(someone who is physically there at pickup...what do you care what happens after if it has been signed over and released.

thats what I figured if I were to mess with it it would be a cash in hand deal before I release the skis. But Im not gonna mess with it. I prefer to sell local anyway
