What are you guys carrying on your ski's? 5,6,7 thousand? What kind of payments are you making on your loan?

My total with trailer will be just over $10,000 and i'll finance about half of that. i'm not sure what my payments are yet.

I financed $ 6,000 on my used PWCs with a signature loan so interest is higher. My payment is $ 80.00 a month. SInce I did a signature loan and FL law does not require insurance I do not have to have insurance. I got it anyway for $ 20-25 dollars a month. I just got a signature loan because I am paying them off less than a year after buying them.

That's great paying off your PWC. I am paying mine off when I put on Captain here real soon. I'm dumping all my pay raise on them after paying off the bit on my credit card. It will be good to own them outright.

saved all winter last year to buy a 1200R but still had to take out a loan for around 4 grand, in feb of 02 paid it of in jan of 03. I was paying 156$ a month 8% on $4000 dollars. This past summer I saved to buy a raptor. Paid cash Its always better to have that feeling that you own them. rather than paying 200$ a month just to have them sit on the dock or in a garage.

Tryed to get a loan to get my ski but as I have no "history" I got declined.
Bastards !!!

I was hoping to go right to a stage 2+ but instead I have to take my time and buy up the scraps you guys sell here on the board.

Maybe next ski will be different.

Blaster 2 , borrowed money out of 401-k. paying myself back at 4% interest. Paid it off in a year and a half.
GPR once again borrowed money out of my 401-k paying myself back at 5% interest. still owe a lil bit on it. Oh yea it was allready modded. All I did was buy a stinger 3 for it. Greg allready put the head, drop nozzle, prop, rideplate, pump plug, sponsons and everything else on it before I bought it. Heck it even had the race stickers.
All I did was strip the trailer and have it hot dipped galvanized.

whatever, but ide rather pay myself the interest than the bank. I can borrow up to 1/2 my 401k with no problem. 401k.com

Clint. hmm what size driveline did you use? .125 or .187? the .187 should of worked for boats up to .45.
get a weedeater boat. with a real mild non race motor they handle rough water, jump well and are easy to start and run.
My dumas is so fast its always on the verge of a roll or flipping when hitting even small waves at WOT. I can make you a copy of some of my homemade videos ofmyself and some guys flipping, crashing and running there boats.
Pick up a R/C boat modeler mag and brake out a grand. haha
