I'm not surprised, they don't have a lot of good product and Sea-Doo and Yamaha are turning up the heat, too bad though.

WOW!
Sounds like they put alot of money into there MSX progam and it didnt pan out. That really sucks for the sport in general.
I guess to look on the bright side, it means more market share for the big three (yami, kawi and seapoo) and more money for them to invest in new products.

You forgot to mention the $13 million lost last year and the $36 mill the expect to lose this year.

If ya want a pwc with a long range look at the new VX ...might be the next great 4 stroke...maybe not speed wise but out of the hole and speed is not bad at all...55 mph...and handles better than the fx....more playfull...

Might very well be my next boat...

Very bad day indeed....

After the PRO785 and the SLTX, they never really released an inovative top notch boat.

Polaris had led the way for many years:
-Factory Triple pipes...and pretty dependable too!
-Lightweight race hull.
-Stock Hydroturf pads
-SST Skat pumps stock
-Bilge pumps stock.
-Pitot tube speedometer.
-LCD gauge with max speed and rpm recall.
-O-ringed heads.
-Thermostatic cooling.
-Industry leading fuel economy.

Prices are dropping like bad transmissions. Here is an add I found from my local dealer just this morning.
"We have 5 2004 Polaris watercraft left at WAY below dealer cost prices with double the factory warranties. 1 MSX 140, 2 MSX 110's, & 2 Virage I's. All in the 5,000 range!. All brand new. Galvanized trailers at cost, no hidden fees, they will not last. Financing available with no money down. Call for more details."
I removed name and phone number so I would not offend Riva.
