I was just thinking, how come no one ever came up with ajustable compression heads? or did some one?
I was thinking......to have a set of heads where you could just remove your seat and adjust the domes/compression by simply turning the domes or something to that effect. Im not talking about removing anything and changing domes................ But rather, to be able to turn the domes and tighten them (corkscrew effect) and get more compression. This way you could adjust instantly to according to what your are doing or the type of fuel you are using. I think this would have been a great idea with the 2 stroke motors.

I have some old watercraft magazines , PJS or PSI, really cant remember, had some adjustable domes for the seadoo, they did like you said ,you turned them for increased compression, I dont know if it really worked. If you need to see them I can scan a copy of the picture for you.

PSI Performance builds adjustable domes for sleds. I've used 'em before on some hillclimb stuff. Really nifty idea and they seemed to hold up to the abuse quite well. A must have for the sreious climber, its nice to be able to get a lttle more compression at 6000 ft with a couple wrenches. their website is psiperformance.com go to the view catalog page and download page 8, its got some pics there.
