I wont bed my life on anything, but I heard this from someone deep in the business who told me about the STXR & RXP before it was anounced, then the RXT before it was anounced, 3D.............now he is telling me about the 400HP HYDROSPACE sit down, Im just passing on what I heard, even though I probably shouldnt be. I guess lets wait and see. It would be exciting if it really does happen, dont you think?

I'll put it to you this way....

If these jackarses dont get off their hineys and make a great handling watercraft with 300PLUS HP, then I think there are more than a few turbo-busa setups to be had for existing hulls for WAAAAAAAAAAAAY less than the cost of a new watercraft.

400 HP???

Man oh man can you imagine the maintance that machine is going to need. Wonder who is going to be autherized dealers and service centers.
I heard about the sit down but nothing of a 400hp motor.
Was rumored that the sit down if availible will also be of Carbon Fiber like the stand up.
If you can get a Complete Carbon Hull then you wont need no 400hp motor to win.

So much talking... I'll believe it when I see it! If I see it and it's under $12,000 then I'll look into getting it.

I don't think you will get a new carbon fiber ski for $12,000.

Think in the vicinity of $25K for the sitdown, unreliable sources tell me the hull will be loosely based on the STXR, if that's the case....WOW!!!

I'm hoping that's a joke... That info's been out for about 2-3 months! And it's posted on the forum and on Yamahas web site??? Are you for real? Day late and a dollar short there!
