I'm guessing the promoter has discontinued the site for awhile but that is just reading between the lines if you go to pwcmania.com & read some of the posts. I don't think this past season was what they had hoped for.

As far as the season goes. I went to a race this summer at Lake Dallas. Prior to the race all I saw were a few fliers at some local businesses around the lake. I think they need to up the promotions. Have some dealers to out to the races and set up displays. It can get expensive, but that is only a small part of what it takes. Rising fuel costs hasnt helped either.
It was a nice site, especially the intro.

IMO as much as I hate to say it CC is dying pretty quick, exspecially in Region 5, but on the other hand SuperCoarse is booming in Region 5. You will find many of the old CC racers doing this now. Check out http://www.teamsportracing.com

I think you are right. It would be nice if somehow both of these could merge & say run CC on Sat. & SC on Sun. I'm sure the logistics of pulling that off would be a litle too much to handle though.

It's realle unfortunate, but our racing promotors no matter where in the country are not to big on promotion I know, pretty silly isnt it? I dunno how many region 8 races I attended where the people that showed up to watch had no clue such an event was taking place, and had they known they would have made plans to be there, just one of the many reasons our sport has been falling out. Thank God for the racers and diehards that keep pushing, hopefully we can get over this hump and get one form or another of the sport to be successful

I agree. I mean can you imagine just a 30 second run on the friday afternoon news stating that a PWC race would be going on in a city like Dallas that weekend?
